Tasting & Blending Experience
At our Tasting & Blending Experience in the Spirit Laboratory, you’ll sample our award-winning range of spirits before creating a gin, rum, or vodka to your own unique recipe. Guided through the process, you’ll first explore our collection of natural extracts made from dried fruits and herbs, taking time to smell and taste as many as you wish.
From there, you’ll select up to four extracts, refine your choices through further tasting, and then rank them in order of preference. Finally, you’ll decide the exact percentages for your blend, crafting a spirit that is entirely your own.
Your Experience
You’ll receive a 20cl bottle, containing 10cl of your chosen base spirit. Using your preference list, you’ll then balance the remaining 10cl with carefully measured extracts, experimenting with percentages to achieve your perfect blend.
With the help of measuring cylinders and pipettes, you’ll taste and adjust your creation as it develops, fine-tuning the flavour until it’s exactly as you envisioned.
Your finished bottle will be uniquely labelled for you to take home, and we’ll record your recipe so you can order additional bottles of your personalised spirit in the future.
Our collection includes essences from over 45 fruits and herbs, giving you endless possibilities for creativity.
Each session lasts around two hours and accommodates groups of up to eight people. As an added treat, everyone attending will enjoy a 10% discount on all products in our distillery shop.
